**Abstract
** The implementation of e-government initiatives in local government authorities has become increasingly prevalent in recent years, aiming to enhance service delivery and improve overall governance effectiveness. This thesis presents an in-depth analysis of the impact of e-government implementation on service delivery in local government authorities. The study investigates the extent to which e-government initiatives have influenced service delivery processes, efficiency, and citizen satisfaction within the context of local governance. The research begins with a comprehensive review of relevant literature on e-government, service delivery, and local government administration. The literature review explores the theoretical frameworks, models, and empirical studies that have examined the relationship between e-government implementation and service delivery outcomes. Key themes such as digital transformation, citizen engagement, and administrative efficiency are discussed to provide a theoretical foundation for the study. Methodologically, a mixed-methods approach is employed to gather data from multiple sources, including surveys, interviews, and document analysis. The research methodology chapter outlines the research design, sampling strategy, data collection methods, and analytical techniques used to investigate the research questions. The study adopts a case study approach, focusing on a select number of local government authorities that have implemented e-government initiatives. The findings of the study reveal both the opportunities and challenges associated with e-government implementation in local government authorities.
