This thesis explores the implementation of transparent and accountable governance practices in local government through a comprehensive case study analysis. The study aims to address the challenges faced by local governments in fostering transparency and accountability in their operations, with a focus on enhancing public trust and promoting good governance. By examining a specific case study, this research seeks to identify the strategies, mechanisms, and best practices that can be adopted to improve governance effectiveness at the local level. The introduction provides a background to the study, outlining the significance of transparent and accountable governance in local government settings.
