This thesis aims to analyze the effectiveness of PPPs in improving service delivery within the context of local governance. The study focuses on exploring the dynamics, challenges, and outcomes of PPP projects in local government settings to provide insights for policymakers, practitioners, and researchers. Chapter One provides an introduction to the research topic, establishing the background, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, structure of the thesis, and definitions of key terms related to PPPs and service delivery in local governments.
