Transparency and accountability in these processes are essential to ensure fairness, integrity, and efficiency. This thesis explores the implementation of transparency and accountability measures in government procurement processes through a case study analysis. The study aims to identify challenges, opportunities, and best practices associated with enhancing transparency and accountability in government procurement. The research begins with an introduction providing the background of the study, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance of the study, structure of the thesis, and definition of key terms. A comprehensive literature review in Chapter Two examines existing knowledge on transparency, accountability, and government procurement processes. The review covers ten key themes, including the importance of transparency in procurement, challenges in accountability mechanisms, and international best practices in procurement transparency. Chapter Three outlines the research methodology employed in this study. The methodology includes a detailed description of the research design, data collection methods, sampling techniques, and data analysis procedures.
