** The advent of Information Communication Technology (ICT) has revolutionized the way governments interact with their citizens, leading to the emergence of electronic government (e-government) services. This thesis explores the implementation of e-government services to enhance citizen participation and government transparency in public administration. The research delves into the significance of leveraging technology to bridge the gap between the government and its citizens, fostering a more interactive and accountable governance framework. The introductory chapter sets the stage by discussing the background of the study, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, structure of the thesis, and definition of terms. Chapter two presents a comprehensive literature review encompassing ten key components that highlight the evolution and impact of e-government services on citizen participation and government transparency. Chapter three outlines the research methodology employed in this study, detailing the research design, population and sampling techniques, data collection methods, and data analysis procedures. The chapter also discusses ethical considerations, validity, and reliability measures to ensure the rigor of the research findings.
