Abstract
This thesis explores the implementation of e-government services as a means to enhance public service delivery. In an increasingly digital world, governments are turning to technology to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and better serve their constituents. The study focuses on the benefits and challenges of implementing e-government services, the impact on public service delivery, and the implications for both government agencies and citizens. The research methodology employed a mixed-methods approach, combining qualitative and quantitative data collection methods to gather insights from government officials, technology experts, and citizens. The study found that e-government services have the potential to significantly improve public service delivery by increasing accessibility, efficiency, and transparency. However, challenges such as digital divide, data security, and resistance to change must be addressed to fully realize the benefits of e-government services. The literature review highlighted key concepts and theories related to e-government, public service delivery, and technology adoption. By synthesizing existing research and best practices, the study provides a comprehensive understanding of the current state of e-government services and the opportunities for future development. The findings of the study underscore the importance of stakeholder engagement, capacity building, and strategic planning in successfully implementing e-government services. Government agencies must prioritize user needs, invest in infrastructure and training, and establish clear policies and guidelines to ensure the effective delivery of e-government services. In conclusion, the thesis argues that the implementation of e-government services is a crucial step towards modernizing public service delivery and improving governance. By leveraging technology to enhance efficiency, transparency, and citizen engagement, governments can better meet the needs of their constituents and build trust in public institutions. The study offers recommendations for policymakers, practitioners, and researchers to further advance the field of e-government services and drive positive change in public administration.
