The public sector plays a critical role in economic management in Nigeria, a country with a history of fluctuating economic conditions. This research aims to explore the impact of the public sector on economic management in Nigeria by analyzing various factors such as government policies, public expenditure, and transparency in governance. One of the key aspects to consider is the role of government policies in shaping the economic landscape of Nigeria. The government's decisions regarding fiscal and monetary policies have a direct impact on key economic indicators such as inflation, unemployment, and economic growth. By studying the effectiveness of these policies, we can gain insights into how well the public sector is managing the economy. Public expenditure is another crucial element to examine when assessing the impact of the public sector on economic management in Nigeria. The allocation of funds towards infrastructure, social services, and other essential sectors can influence the overall economic development of the country.
