This thesis explores the moral implications of AI development, focusing on the ethical considerations that arise from the increasing integration of AI systems in various spheres of human life. The introductory chapter sets the stage for the study by providing an overview of the research background, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, and structure of the thesis. It also defines key terms related to the topic to establish a common understanding. The literature review chapter critically examines existing research and scholarly works on AI ethics, analyzing key themes and debates in the field. Ten items are identified and discussed to provide a comprehensive understanding of the ethical challenges posed by AI development.
