This thesis explores the implementation of virtual assistants for office automation, aiming to enhance efficiency and productivity in modern office environments. Virtual assistants, powered by artificial intelligence technologies, have gained popularity for their ability to perform tasks traditionally done by human assistants. The study delves into the background of virtual assistants, the problem statement surrounding office automation, the objectives of the study, limitations, scope, significance, and the structure of the thesis. The literature review in Chapter Two provides a comprehensive analysis of existing research on virtual assistants, their applications, benefits, and challenges in office settings. Ten key themes emerged from the literature, including the impact of virtual assistants on employee productivity, customer service, data security, and the future of work. Chapter Three details the research methodology employed in this study, including research design, data collection methods, sample selection, and data analysis techniques. The chapter also discusses ethical considerations and limitations encountered during the research process. Chapter Four presents the findings of the study, highlighting the observations, trends, and insights gained from implementing virtual assistants for office automation. The discussion covers various aspects, such as user experience, performance metrics, cost-effectiveness, and organizational adoption factors.
