The proliferation of digital documents within organizations necessitates the efficient management of these resources to enhance productivity and streamline operations. This thesis explores the implementation of a Digital Document Management System (DDMS) in a corporate environment to address the challenges associated with traditional document handling processes. The study investigates the background of DDMS, its benefits, challenges, and the impact on organizational efficiency. Chapter one provides an introduction to the research topic, outlining the background of the study, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, and structure of the thesis.
