Abstract
This thesis explores the implementation of Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology in library management systems. RFID technology offers promising benefits for libraries in terms of efficiency, security, and user experience. The primary objective of this study is to investigate the impact of implementing RFID technology in a library setting and to provide insights into the key factors that influence the successful adoption of RFID systems in libraries. The research methodology employed a mixed-method approach, combining quantitative analysis of data collected from RFID implementation case studies and qualitative data obtained through interviews with librarians and library users. The literature review in this thesis covers various aspects of RFID technology, library management systems, and factors influencing technology adoption in libraries.
