This thesis examines the digital preservation strategies employed by cultural heritage institutions to ensure the longevity and accessibility of their collections. Through a comprehensive case study analysis, this research investigates the challenges faced by these institutions in preserving digital assets and the strategies implemented to overcome these challenges. Chapter One provides the foundation for the study, starting with an introduction to the importance of digital preservation in cultural heritage institutions. The background of the study explores the historical context of digital preservation and its significance in the modern age. The problem statement identifies the key issues faced by cultural heritage institutions in preserving digital materials, while the objectives of the study outline the specific goals and aims of the research.
