This study aims to evaluate the pivotal role of libraries in disaster preparedness and recovery, examining their contributions to community resilience, information dissemination, and support services during and after disasters. By investigating the multifaceted involvement of libraries in disaster management, the research seeks to assess the effectiveness of library initiatives in enhancing community preparedness, response coordination, and long-term recovery efforts. Through a mixed-methods approach, including case studies, stakeholder interviews, and comparative analysis, the study will explore the evolving role of libraries in disaster resilience, aiming to provide practical insights and recommendations for strengthening the capacity of libraries to serve as vital resources in disaster-affected communities.
