Library user orientation programs play a crucial role in facilitating new students' integration into the academic library environment and promoting their information literacy skills. This study seeks to comprehensively evaluate the effectiveness of library user orientation programs for new students, with a focus on their impact on information literacy development and academic success. By assessing the outcomes of library orientation initiatives, the research aims to provide insights into the efficacy of these programs in equipping new students with the necessary skills to navigate library resources, conduct research, and succeed academically.
