The Arctic region has increasingly become a focal point of geopolitical interest, as the changing environmental conditions and resource accessibility have reshaped the strategic dynamics of the High North. The intersection of economic opportunities, security concerns, and environmental challenges has positioned the Arctic as a critical arena for international relations. This research project seeks to provide a comprehensive analysis of the geopolitics of the Arctic, aiming to deepen our understanding of the strategic interests, security dynamics, and diplomatic interactions of Arctic and non-Arctic states in the region. By examining historical perspectives, current developments, and future projections, this study aims to contribute to a nuanced understanding of the geopolitical significance of the Arctic and its implications for international relations.
