Diaspora communities have increasingly become significant actors in international relations, exerting influence on foreign policy, transnational engagement, cultural diplomacy, and conflict resolution. The interconnectedness of diaspora communities with their host and home countries has reshaped the dynamics of international relations, prompting a reevaluation of traditional state-centric approaches to diplomacy and governance. This research project seeks to provide a comprehensive analysis of the role of diaspora communities in international relations, with a focus on understanding their influence, engagement, and transnationalism. By examining case studies and theoretical frameworks, this study aims to contribute to a deeper understanding of the complexities involved in the intersection of diaspora communities and international relations, and to provide insights into the prospects for enhancing their contributions to global governance, conflict resolution, and sustainable development.
