Abstract
This thesis investigates the impact of plant-based diets on cardiovascular health in adults. The rising prevalence of cardiovascular diseases has prompted a growing interest in exploring dietary interventions as a means to prevent and manage these conditions. Plant-based diets, characterized by a high consumption of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, nuts, and seeds, have been associated with various health benefits, including reduced risk of cardiovascular diseases. However, the specific mechanisms through which plant-based diets influence cardiovascular health remain unclear. This study aims to provide a comprehensive analysis of the relationship between plant-based diets and cardiovascular health in adults.
