Abstract
This thesis investigates the impact of sustainable agricultural practices on rural household income and food security. With the increasing global population and environmental concerns, there is a growing need to promote sustainable agricultural practices that can enhance both economic benefits and food security in rural areas. The study aims to assess the effectiveness of implementing sustainable agricultural practices in improving rural household income levels and ensuring food security. The research methodology involves a mixed-method approach, combining quantitative data analysis and qualitative interviews with rural households practicing sustainable agriculture. A sample of rural households will be selected from different regions to provide a diverse perspective on the impact of sustainable agricultural practices. Chapter 1 provides an introduction to the research topic, background of the study, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, structure of the thesis, and definition of key terms.
