Abstract
Sustainable agriculture practices play a critical role in ensuring food security and environmental sustainability, particularly in rural communities. This study focuses on assessing the implementation and impact of sustainable agriculture practices in a selected rural community through a case study approach. The research explores the background, challenges, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, and structure of the thesis in Chapter One. In Chapter Two, a comprehensive literature review highlights key concepts, theories, and previous studies related to sustainable agriculture practices and their implications for rural communities. Chapter Three presents the research methodology, including research design, data collection methods, sampling techniques, and data analysis procedures. The findings of the study, discussed in Chapter Four, provide insights into the current status of sustainable agriculture practices in the rural community under investigation, highlighting both successes and challenges. Finally, Chapter Five offers a conclusion and summary of the research findings, emphasizing the importance of promoting sustainable agriculture practices in rural communities for long-term food security and environmental health. The study contributes to the existing body of knowledge on sustainable agriculture and provides practical recommendations for policymakers, agricultural practitioners, and community stakeholders to enhance the adoption and effectiveness of sustainable agriculture practices in rural settings.
