Abstract
The role of agricultural extension services in enhancing crop yields and improving agricultural practices in rural farming communities is of paramount importance for sustainable food production and rural development. This thesis investigates the impact of agricultural extension services on crop yields in rural farming communities, focusing on understanding the effectiveness of these services in improving agricultural productivity and the livelihoods of farmers. The study aims to provide empirical evidence on the relationship between agricultural extension services and crop yields in rural settings. Chapter 1 introduces the research topic by outlining the background of the study, identifying the problem statement, objectives of the study, limitations, scope, significance of the study, structure of the thesis, and defining key terms related to the research.
