This thesis aims to evaluate the impact of sustainable agriculture practices on rural household incomes, focusing on a comprehensive analysis of the relationship between adopting sustainable agricultural methods and the economic well-being of rural households. The study examines various sustainable agriculture practices such as agroforestry, organic farming, integrated pest management, and conservation agriculture, and their effects on income generation in rural communities. Chapter One provides the introduction, background of the study, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, and structure of the thesis. It establishes the rationale for evaluating the impact of sustainable agriculture practices on rural household incomes and defines the key terms used throughout the study. Chapter Two presents a detailed literature review that explores previous research on sustainable agriculture practices, rural household incomes, and the nexus between the two.
