This thesis investigates the Assessment of Sustainable Agricultural Practices in Rural Household Economies, focusing on the importance of sustainable agricultural practices in enhancing the livelihoods of rural households. The study aims to assess the current agricultural practices being employed in rural areas and to identify sustainable practices that can contribute to improved productivity, income generation, and environmental conservation. The research methodology includes a combination of quantitative and qualitative approaches to gather data from rural households, agricultural extension officers, and other stakeholders. Chapter One provides an introduction to the research topic, outlining the background of the study, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, and structure of the thesis. Chapter Two presents a comprehensive literature review covering ten key areas related to sustainable agricultural practices, rural household economies, and the impact of agriculture on rural development.
