Abstract
This thesis investigates the impact of sustainable agriculture practices on rural household income and food security. Sustainable agricultural practices play a critical role in addressing food security challenges and improving the livelihoods of rural households. The study aims to assess the effectiveness of sustainable agriculture practices in enhancing income generation and food security among rural communities. The research employs a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative surveys and qualitative interviews to gather data from rural households practicing sustainable agriculture. The study sample includes households from diverse rural settings, allowing for a comprehensive analysis of the impact of sustainable agriculture practices on income and food security. Chapter One provides an introduction to the research topic, outlining the background, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, and structure of the thesis. Chapter Two presents a comprehensive literature review covering ten key aspects related to sustainable agriculture practices, rural household income, and food security.
