</p><p>Mental health challenges are prevalent among college athletes, who face unique pressures and demands related to their academic and athletic pursuits. While the importance of physical health is often emphasized in athletic programs, mental health education and support remain underrepresented. This research aims to develop and evaluate a comprehensive health education program designed to promote mental health awareness and support among college athletes.</p><p>The study will employ a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative data from surveys and assessments with qualitative data from focus groups and interviews. The research will involve the development and implementation of a comprehensive health education program that addresses topics such as stress management, burnout prevention, help-seeking behaviors, and stigma reduction.
