Abstract
This thesis examines the impact of mindfulness-based interventions on stress and anxiety levels among college students through a randomized controlled trial study. The study aims to address the increasing prevalence of stress and anxiety among college students and explore the effectiveness of mindfulness techniques in managing these mental health challenges. The research methodology involved a randomized controlled trial design with college students randomly assigned to either a mindfulness intervention group or a control group. The mindfulness intervention included techniques such as mindfulness meditation, deep breathing exercises, and body scan practices, administered over a specified period. Data collection methods included pre- and post-intervention assessments of stress and anxiety levels using standardized psychological measures. The findings of the study revealed a significant reduction in stress and anxiety levels among college students who participated in the mindfulness-based intervention compared to those in the control group.
