Climate change is a global phenomenon that has been identified as a significant driver of coastal erosion, posing various challenges to coastal regions worldwide. This thesis examines the specific impacts of climate change on coastal erosion in a designated region, aiming to enhance understanding of the complex interactions between climate change and coastal processes. The study emphasizes the importance of investigating these impacts to inform sustainable coastal management strategies and adaptation measures. The research begins with a comprehensive literature review to establish the theoretical framework and current understanding of climate change and coastal erosion dynamics. Through a critical analysis of existing studies, the review highlights the key factors contributing to coastal erosion in the context of climate change, such as sea-level rise, extreme weather events, and changing precipitation patterns. Methodologically, a mixed-method approach is adopted to investigate the impacts of climate change on coastal erosion in the specific region.
