Climate change continues to pose significant challenges to coastal ecosystems worldwide, affecting ecological balance and human livelihoods. This thesis investigates the impacts of climate change on coastal ecosystems in a specific region, aiming to enhance understanding of the processes involved and propose adaptive strategies. The study employs a multidisciplinary approach, combining ecological, geographical, and socio-economic perspectives to comprehensively assess the complex interactions between climate change and coastal ecosystems. Chapter One provides an introduction to the research, outlining the background of the study, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, structure of the thesis, and key definitions.
