Climate change poses a significant threat to coastal communities worldwide, impacting their social, economic, and environmental well-being. This thesis focuses on assessing the impact of climate change on coastal communities in a specific region, aiming to provide valuable insights into the challenges faced and potential adaptation strategies required. Through a comprehensive case study approach, this research examines the vulnerability and resilience of coastal communities in the face of changing climate patterns, with a particular emphasis on the identified region. The introduction sets the stage by outlining the background of the study, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, and structure of the thesis. Chapter two presents a detailed literature review encompassing ten key themes related to climate change impacts on coastal communities, drawing on existing research, reports, and case studies to establish a solid theoretical framework.
