Abstract

This project examines the environmental impacts of tourism and outdoor recreation in [location]. Tourism is a major industry in the region, bringing in visitors for activities like hiking, camping, fishing, boating, and more. While tourism provides significant economic benefits, it can also negatively impact the natural environment if not properly managed. This study analyzes the main environmental issues associated with different types of tourism and recreation, such as increased pollution, habitat degradation, and impacts on wildlife. Data was collected through literature reviews, interviews with local experts, and observations in recreational areas. The findings provide insight into how tourism can be developed sustainably while minimizing environmental costs.
