Abstract
Climate change poses a significant threat to biodiversity conservation efforts in protected areas worldwide. This study aims to assess the impact of climate change on biodiversity conservation in protected areas and to propose strategies to mitigate these impacts. The research methodology includes a comprehensive literature review, data collection through field surveys, and analysis of climate data and biodiversity indicators. The findings reveal that climate change is already affecting biodiversity in protected areas, leading to shifts in species distributions, changes in ecosystem functions, and increased vulnerability of endangered species. The study identifies key factors contributing to these impacts, such as habitat loss, altered precipitation patterns, and increasing temperatures. Based on the findings, recommendations are made for adaptive management strategies to enhance the resilience of protected areas to climate change.
