The research methodology employed a mixed-method approach, combining both qualitative and quantitative data collection techniques. The introductory chapter provides a comprehensive overview of the research topic, including the background of the study, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, structure of the thesis, and definition of key terms. Chapter two presents a thorough literature review, analyzing existing studies and theories on sustainable waste management practices in urban areas to provide a theoretical framework for the research.
