Abstract
As the world faces increasing environmental challenges due to human activities, the need for effective waste management practices has become paramount. This thesis investigates the effectiveness of sustainable waste management practices in reducing environmental pollution. The study aims to assess various sustainable waste management strategies and their impact on mitigating environmental pollution. The research methodology employed a mixed-method approach, combining qualitative and quantitative data collection techniques. A comprehensive literature review was conducted to explore existing knowledge on sustainable waste management practices and environmental pollution. The study also involved field surveys, interviews with waste management experts, and analysis of waste management data from selected case studies. The findings of the study reveal that sustainable waste management practices, such as recycling, composting, and waste-to-energy technologies, have shown promising results in reducing environmental pollution.
