Abstract
Climate change poses a significant threat to biodiversity conservation efforts in protected areas worldwide. This study aims to assess the impact of climate change on biodiversity conservation in protected areas and explore potential strategies to mitigate these impacts. The research methodology includes a comprehensive literature review, field surveys, and data analysis to examine the current status of biodiversity in selected protected areas and evaluate the effectiveness of existing conservation measures in the face of climate change. The findings reveal that climate change is already affecting biodiversity in protected areas, leading to habitat loss, species extinction, and ecosystem degradation. However, the study also identifies opportunities for enhancing biodiversity resilience through adaptive management practices, habitat restoration, and community engagement. The results underscore the importance of integrating climate change considerations into biodiversity conservation planning and management to ensure the long-term sustainability of protected areas. This thesis contributes to the growing body of knowledge on climate change impacts on biodiversity and provides valuable insights for policymakers, conservation practitioners, and researchers working to safeguard natural ecosystems in the face of a changing climate.

Thesis Overview

The research project titled "Assessing the Impact of Climate Change on Biodiversity Conservation Efforts in Protected Areas" aims to investigate the effects of climate change on biodiversity conservation initiatives in designated protected areas.
