The research methodology includes a comprehensive literature review, data collection through surveys and interviews, and analysis of findings to draw meaningful conclusions. Chapter One provides an introduction to the research topic, presenting the background of the study, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, structure of the thesis, and definitions of key terms. Chapter Two consists of a detailed literature review covering ten key aspects related to sustainable waste management practices in urban areas. Chapter Three outlines the research methodology, including the research design, data collection methods, sampling techniques, data analysis procedures, ethical considerations, and limitations of the study. It also discusses the theoretical framework used to guide the research process. Chapter Four presents a thorough discussion of the findings, highlighting the current waste management practices in urban areas, identifying challenges and opportunities for improvement, and proposing recommendations for sustainable waste management strategies.
