Climate change is one of the greatest challenges facing our planet today, with far-reaching consequences for biodiversity conservation. This thesis presents a comprehensive assessment of the impact of climate change on biodiversity in a protected area. The study focuses on understanding how climate change is affecting the species composition, distribution, and abundance of flora and fauna within the protected area. By analyzing long-term climate data and conducting field surveys, this research aims to provide insights into the specific threats posed by climate change to the biodiversity of the area. Chapter One provides an introduction to the research, giving a background of the study, stating the problem statement, outlining the objectives, discussing the limitations and scope of the study, highlighting the significance of the research, and presenting the structure of the thesis. Additionally, key terms used throughout the thesis are defined to ensure clarity of communication. Chapter Two is dedicated to a thorough literature review, consisting of ten items that explore existing research on climate change impacts on biodiversity in protected areas. This chapter aims to build upon existing knowledge and provide a comprehensive overview of the current state of research in this field. Chapter Three details the research methodology employed in this study. It covers various aspects such as research design, data collection methods, sampling techniques, data analysis procedures, and ethical considerations.
