Climate change poses significant challenges to coastal areas worldwide, exacerbating coastal erosion and threatening the resilience of communities situated in these vulnerable regions. This thesis examines the impact of climate change on coastal erosion and explores strategies aimed at enhancing community resilience in the face of these environmental challenges. Through a comprehensive literature review, the study synthesizes existing knowledge on climate change, coastal erosion, and community resilience to provide a holistic understanding of the issues at hand. Chapter One provides an introduction to the research topic, presenting the background of the study, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, structure of the thesis, and definition of key terms. Chapter Two delves into a detailed literature review, encompassing ten key areas related to climate change, coastal erosion, and community resilience. This chapter aims to establish a solid theoretical foundation for the research by examining existing studies, frameworks, and best practices in the field. Chapter Three outlines the research methodology employed in this study, detailing the research design, data collection methods, sampling techniques, data analysis procedures, and ethical considerations. The methodology chapter also addresses the limitations and potential biases associated with the research approach, ensuring the reliability and validity of the findings.
