Green infrastructure has emerged as a promising approach to managing stormwater in urban areas, offering multiple benefits such as flood mitigation, water quality improvement, and biodiversity enhancement. This thesis aims to assess the effectiveness of green infrastructure in urban stormwater management through a comprehensive investigation that integrates theoretical concepts, empirical evidence, and practical implications. The study begins with an introduction that sets the context for the research, highlighting the importance of sustainable stormwater management in urban environments. The background of the study provides an overview of the existing literature on green infrastructure and its relevance in addressing stormwater challenges.
