Waste management practices in urban areas play a crucial role in determining environmental sustainability. This thesis presents an in-depth assessment of waste management practices in urban areas and their environmental impact. The study aims to investigate current waste management strategies, identify challenges, and propose sustainable solutions for improving waste management systems in urban settings. The research methodology includes a comprehensive literature review, data collection through surveys and interviews, and analysis of findings to draw meaningful conclusions. Chapter One provides an introduction to the research topic, highlighting the importance of effective waste management in urban areas.
