Abstract
The research project focused on investigating the effects of climate change on global food security. The study utilized a combination of quantitative analysis and literature review to examine the relationship between climate change and food security. The quantitative analysis involved collecting and analyzing data on food production, crop yields, and climate patterns over the past few decades. The literature review covered various scholarly articles, reports, and publications on the topic to provide a comprehensive understanding of the current state of global food security in the context of climate change. The findings of the research highlighted the significant impact of climate change on food security worldwide. The analysis of historical data revealed a clear pattern of changing climate conditions affecting crop yields and food production in various regions. The study also identified vulnerable populations and regions that are particularly at risk of food insecurity due to climate change, such as smallholder farmers in developing countries and marginalized communities in regions prone to extreme weather events. Moreover, the research explored potential adaptation strategies to mitigate the adverse effects of climate change on food security. These strategies included promoting sustainable agricultural practices, investing in climate-resilient crop varieties, improving water management systems, and enhancing social safety nets for vulnerable populations.
