Abstract
This research project aims to investigate the impact of social media on mental health among adolescents. Social media has become an integral part of contemporary society, with adolescents being one of the most active user groups. The study will explore how the use of social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and Snapchat influences the mental well-being of teenagers. The research will utilize a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative surveys and qualitative interviews to gather comprehensive data. The survey will assess the frequency and duration of social media use, as well as the types of content consumed and interactions engaged in by adolescents. Additionally, the qualitative interviews will provide valuable insights into the subjective experiences and perceptions of teenagers regarding social media and its impact on their mental health.
