Abstract
The research project focuses on exploring the impact of social media on mental health among teenagers. In recent years, the rise of social media platforms has significantly influenced the way adolescents communicate, interact, and perceive themselves and others. This study aims to investigate the relationship between social media usage and mental well-being in teenagers, considering factors such as self-esteem, body image, cyberbullying, and overall psychological health. The research will employ a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative surveys and qualitative interviews to gather comprehensive data. The quantitative aspect of the study will involve administering standardized questionnaires to assess the frequency and duration of social media use, as well as measuring various mental health indicators such as stress, anxiety, and depression levels. These surveys will be distributed among a diverse sample of teenagers to ensure a representative population.
