Abstract
This study investigates the impact of financial literacy education on economic decision-making among college students. The importance of financial literacy has gained increasing recognition in recent years, as individuals are faced with complex financial decisions that can significantly impact their financial well-being. The aim of this research is to analyze how financial literacy education can enhance the economic decision-making skills of college students, ultimately leading to better financial outcomes. The research methodology employed in this study includes a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative surveys and qualitative interviews to gather comprehensive data on the financial literacy levels and decision-making processes of college students. A sample of college students will participate in financial literacy workshops and training sessions to assess the effectiveness of these interventions on their economic decision-making abilities. The literature review conducted in this study covers a wide range of topics related to financial literacy, economic decision-making, and educational interventions. It examines existing theories and empirical studies to provide a solid theoretical foundation for the research questions posed in this study. The review also highlights the gaps in the current literature and identifies areas for further research. The findings of this study are expected to contribute to the existing body of knowledge on financial literacy education and its impact on economic decision-making. By analyzing the data collected from surveys and interviews, this research aims to identify the key factors that influence the financial decision-making processes of college students and evaluate the effectiveness of financial literacy education in improving these processes. The results of this study will have implications for policymakers, educators, and financial institutions seeking to enhance the financial literacy skills of college students. By understanding the impact of financial literacy education on economic decision-making, stakeholders can develop targeted interventions and strategies to improve the financial well-being of young adults and promote long-term financial stability.
