Thesis Abstract

<p> This research project aims to investigate the role of economic education in promoting understanding of market failures among college students. Market failures are a crucial concept in economics, and a lack of understanding in this area can lead to misconceptions about the functioning of markets and the role of government intervention. The study will involve surveying and interviewing students before and after they receive specific instruction on market failures to assess the impact of economic education on their comprehension of this topic. The findings will contribute to the ongoing discussion on the effectiveness of economic education in addressing misconceptions about market failures and its implications for public policy and economic decision-making. <br></p>
