Thesis Abstract

This research project aims to assess the impact of financial education on individuals' retirement planning behaviors and preparedness. With an aging population and evolving retirement landscape, understanding the role of financial literacy in shaping retirement decisions is of critical importance. The study will employ a longitudinal approach, tracking individuals who have received financial education interventions and comparing their retirement planning outcomes with those who have not. Through surveys, financial assessments, and interviews, the research seeks to uncover the influence of financial education on retirement savings, investment strategies, and overall preparedness for retirement. The findings will provide valuable insights for policymakers, educators, and financial institutions seeking to enhance retirement security through educational interventions.
