Thesis Abstract

Abstract
Teaching health education in secondary schools presents numerous challenges that educators need to address effectively to ensure the successful delivery of this important subject. This research project aims to investigate the problems encountered in teaching health education in secondary schools, with a focus on identifying key issues and potential solutions. The study will explore various aspects that contribute to the difficulties faced by teachers in delivering health education curriculum effectively. Some of the main problems identified include a lack of teacher training in health education, limited resources and materials, overcrowded curriculum, student disinterest, and societal attitudes towards health education. These issues can hinder the quality of health education provided in secondary schools and impact the overall health outcomes of students. Through a comprehensive literature review and data collection from teachers and students, this research aims to provide valuable insights into the challenges faced by educators in teaching health education. The study will also examine the impact of these problems on student learning outcomes and their attitudes towards health education. By understanding the root causes of these challenges, educators can develop strategies to improve the delivery of health education in secondary schools. This research project will contribute to the existing body of knowledge on health education in schools and provide recommendations for policymakers, school administrators, and teachers to address these issues effectively. Overall, this research project will shed light on the problems faced by educators in teaching health education in secondary schools and propose solutions to enhance the quality of health education. By addressing these challenges, educators can better equip students with the knowledge and skills needed to make informed decisions about their health and well-being, leading to improved health outcomes in the school community.

Introduction

Most people say that health is wealth; this means that, to be healthy

means to be rich. However, it may sound mysterious how health is wealth.
