Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) has been a significant driver of economic growth in developing countries over the past few decades. This study aims to investigate the impact of FDI on economic growth in developing countries, focusing on the key factors that influence this relationship. The research employs both qualitative and quantitative methods to analyze data from various developing countries. Chapter 1 provides an introduction to the research topic, outlining the background, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, and structure of the thesis. The chapter also defines key terms related to FDI and economic growth. Chapter 2 presents a comprehensive literature review, examining existing studies on the relationship between FDI and economic growth.
