Trade liberalization has been a key economic policy implemented by many developing countries with the aim of promoting economic growth and enhancing global competitiveness. However, the impact of trade liberalization on economic growth in developing countries remains a topic of debate among economists and policymakers. This thesis aims to provide a comprehensive analysis of the impact of trade liberalization on economic growth in developing countries, focusing on both the theoretical framework and empirical evidence. Chapter One of the thesis provides an introduction to the research topic, including the background of the study, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, and the structure of the thesis. The chapter also includes definitions of key terms used throughout the thesis to provide clarity and understanding. Chapter Two presents a thorough literature review that examines existing theories, models, and empirical studies related to trade liberalization and economic growth in developing countries.
