Telemedicine has emerged as a promising tool in modern healthcare, offering innovative ways to deliver medical services remotely. This study investigates the efficacy of telemedicine in the field of dermatology through a comparative analysis. The primary aim is to evaluate the effectiveness of telemedicine consultations as compared to traditional in-person dermatology visits. The research methodology involves a comprehensive literature review, data collection, and analysis to assess patient outcomes, satisfaction levels, cost-effectiveness, and diagnostic accuracy in both telemedicine and in-person settings. Factors such as access to care, convenience, and privacy will also be considered in the evaluation. Chapter One provides an introduction to the study, including the background, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, and structure of the thesis. Chapter Two presents a detailed literature review covering ten key aspects related to telemedicine in dermatology, including existing studies, technological advancements, regulatory considerations, and patient preferences.
