Abstract
Telemedicine has emerged as a valuable tool in modern healthcare delivery, offering potential benefits in terms of accessibility, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. This thesis investigates the efficacy of telemedicine specifically in the field of dermatology practice. The primary objective is to evaluate the impact of telemedicine on dermatological care delivery, patient outcomes, and healthcare provider satisfaction. The study begins with a comprehensive literature review to explore the current state of telemedicine in dermatology, highlighting key advancements, challenges, and gaps in research. The research methodology involves a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative analysis of patient data and qualitative interviews with dermatologists and patients utilizing telemedicine services. The findings of the study provide insights into the effectiveness of telemedicine in diagnosing and managing dermatological conditions, patient satisfaction levels, and healthcare provider perspectives on telemedicine integration. Factors such as technology usability, data security, and regulatory considerations are also examined to assess the feasibility and sustainability of telemedicine in dermatology practice. Through a detailed discussion of the research findings, this thesis aims to contribute to the existing literature on telemedicine in dermatology and provide recommendations for optimizing telemedicine implementation in clinical settings.
