Thesis Abstract

<p> This project aims to explore the application of remote sensing technology in monitoring and assessing the health of crops. Remote sensing techniques, such as satellite imagery and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), offer a non-invasive and efficient means of collecting data on crop health indicators, including vegetation indices, chlorophyll content, and water stress. The project will investigate the use of different remote sensing platforms and sensors for capturing high-resolution crop health information. The findings will contribute to the development of remote sensing-based tools for early detection of crop stress, disease outbreaks, and nutrient deficiencies, ultimately aiding in timely management decisions for improving crop productivity and sustainability. <br></p>
